Arrivals/Drop-Offs
Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 8:30 a.m. Staff are not on duty until this time. For the safety of your child, please wait until a staff member is outside. Children should not be dropped off before 8:30. Breakfast is served starting at 8:30 and is free for any child who chooses to eat.
As a reminder, school procedures during the morning drop off are for the safety of our students! Directions of school staff must be followed at all times. For morning drop off, enter the school driveway and drive beside the sidewalk. Keep vehicle traffic in a single lane. Pull forward, as much as possible, until reaching the corner of the building. For ease and safety of the students, it is best for them to get out of the vehicle on the passenger side. Only buses and daycare vans may use the left-hand aisle of the parking lot between the parked cars. Remember to use appropriate language and actions in the presence of children. Your cooperation with these items is necessary for the safety of our students.
Pickups
The school office closes for student pickups between 2:30 pm and 3:20 pm each day. This helps our staff to be sure that they can fully support a smooth transition to school dismissal. If you have to pick up your student up after 2:30 pm you must call the office before 2:00 pm. The office phone number is 614-365-5488.
Student Success Cards
The purpose of these cards is to increase efficiency, and most importantly, enhance student safety. Student Success Cards are IDs featuring a photo, name, ID number, and school logo.
During the school year, these Student Success Cards can be used to:
- Serve as ID during the school day and athletic events
- Access online learning
- Check out books and other age-appropriate materials at any Columbus Metropolitan Library branch
